Welcome Dion Battersby, New Country Director of People in Need Georgia

We are delighted to welcome Dion Battersby as our new Country Director, after Ondřej Nádvorník with our best hopes and wishes, moved to PIN Headquarters in Prague.
Dion brings with her 12 years of international experience working for non-profit institutions. Her working experience includes:
- Disaster Risk Management
- Organizational Development
- Fundraising
- Quality Assurance
- and Coordination with International Development institutions in development and humanitarian contexts
In her new role as Country Director, Dion will be responsible for strategic leadership. She will ensure compliance with PIN values, policies and the strategy of Relief and Development Department (RDD). Dion will manage risks and supervise the quality of programmes and all support functions.
Her predecessor, Ondřej, leaves us after devoting 1.5 years of successful service to PIN Georgia, further contributing to the organization’s development. We wish him every success in the next exciting phase of his career and endless happiness in private life.
