PIN and GALAG Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

We are excited to sign a Memorandum of understanding with the Georgian Association of Local Action Groups (GALAG) and further intensify our joint efforts to Strengthening LEADER and Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) in Georgia.

The MoU that we signed is a sign of our joint commitment to Strengthening LEADER/CLLD in Georgia, and also PIN’s support to GALAG’s organisational development and greater visibility for the important work they do. Community-led local development is a rich opportunity for Georgia, and both parties believe that Local Action Groups provide a vital platform for participatory decision making, inclusive local development, and forging partnerships between people, private sector and local authorities.” said Dion Battersby, Country Director, People in Need Georgia
Nino Tikurishvili, Executive Director of the Georgian Association of Local Action Groups underlined the importance of this cooperation:
