Modern Eco-friendly Technologies for Pshav-Khevsureti

It should not come as a surprise that the economic development of mountainous settlements and increase of tourism services can contribute to environmental pollution. Remote communities with no access to sewage systems or sustainable desludging services can cause wastewater contamination.
With the assistance of Slovak Aid, People in Need has introduced modern, green technology water treatment systems to 15 tourist facilities in Piraketa Khevsureti, Pshavi and Gudamakari, providing environmental protection, safety of water resources and protection of health among locals and visitors.
We hope that in the future, along with the development of tourism, many other facilities will be interested in these technologies and together we will protect and preserve our environment.
